"Iron Earth Table Service "
Octagonal table service in iron earth decorated with plant motifs in blue monochrome. Monogram S in a cartridge. Late 19th century. Service comprising 65 pieces: 23 dinner plates, 12 soup plates, 20 dessert plates, 1 soup tureen, 1 vegetable bowl, 3 compote bowls, 2 large rectangular dishes, 1 large square dish, 1 presentation plate, 1 sauce boat. Bears the mark “terre de fer” on all pieces and “Vermont Frères Paris” on some pieces. Service comprising 65 pieces in good condition, some with small chips or yellowed glaze to which are added 23 pieces with chips (14 dinner plates, 4 soup plates, 9 small plates and 1 vegetable dish without lid). Or 88 pieces. Dimensions flat plates 23 cm deep plates 23 cm dessert plates 20 cm
