"d'Aguesseau"
Large porcelain biscuit representing Chancellor Henri-Francois D'Aguesseau (1668-11751 born in Limoges).Marked Sèvres AD-7-94 debossed on the back of the base.
These sculptures were commissioned by the Count of Angiviller, director of the king's buildings, then taken over by the Sèvres factory in the 18th and 19th century with great success.
Fingers of right hand missing.
