Very rare set of Empire style dessert cutlery in solid silver by Emile Puiforcat. 12 forks and 12 spoons in solid silver very finely chiseled with Empire motifs with laurel leaves and wreaths, palmettes and swans. On the reverse, initials, 2 Cs intertwined in mirror. Minerva 1st title hallmarks and goldsmith's hallmark EP and penknife for Emile Puiforcat. Scratches from use and cleaning. Period late 19th century around 1880. Weight of forks 447 grams in total, spoons 492 grams in total, or a total of 939 grams of silver.
