"Bronze “the Sower” Signed Antonin Larroux (1859-1937)"
Bronze sculpture with brown patina signed on the terrace A. Larroux and which bears the stamp of the founder on the rear part “R.Patrouilleau Edith Paris”. Antonin Larroux was a student of Falguière, he regularly participated in the Salon from 1881 with sculptures evoking work in the fields. He exhibited at the Salon of French Artists, of which he became a member in 1906. He received an honorable mention in 1887 Bronze period early 20th century. Very good condition, beautiful patina.
