Superb display case forming a bookcase in molded and finely carved solid walnut decorated with sagittarius flowers and foliage. The central projection part opens with a large glass door, it is enhanced with ornaments in polished steel, patinated wrought iron and gilded bronze. The sides open with two polished steel glass doors raised in the upper part, and two open niches in the lower part. It rests on a large molded plinth, the side uprights are sculpted in high relief on the edge, the sides and backs of the niches are paneled and veneered in burl walnut, the shelves are adjustable in height. Fire stamp on the back, remarkable quality of cabinetmaking and ironwork, perfect original condition. Model exhibited at the 1912 Salon d'Automne at the Grans Palais.
