Charles COUSIN (Paris 1807 - 1887) View of Venice representing Saint Mark's Square in the distance and the grand canal on which a gondolier and a sailboat sail. Oil on canvas signed lower left Ch Cousin. Cartouche at the bottom in the middle of the frame. Original canvas not re-canvased. All highlighted in a gilded and stuccoed Louis XV style frame. On the attached photo you can see a label on the back of this canvas. Dimensions including frame: top 40/47 wide Dimensions of canvas alone: top 23/33 wide.
