A fine 19th century quality English ash & elm Windsor armchair. Comprising stick and hoop back with a spindle back. The back rail is secured to a stunning solid saddle shaped elm seat with shaped arms on shaped supports. The armchair is raised on turned legs, connected by H form stretchers. This country armchair has stunning grain configurations and warm color, all in good original condition. England circa 1840. The chair seat height is 42cm.
