"Unusual Table From Queyras (hautes-alpes) And Its Two Chairs. Painted Wood. Late 19th Century"
Unusual Queyras table in lime green painted wood with patterns of flowers, birds and chicks. The two chairs come from the same place and are from the same period although the whole could have been recomposed subsequently. The chairs have lost a good part of the paint but this work is child's play for those who like to recreate... Very decorative work from the end of the 19th century. Typical furniture from shepherds' houses in the Hautes-Alpes. A bit like beds built into walls, the table can be fixed on its vertical extension and folded to save space. Ideal in a small old kitchen with a bucolic and country atmosphere. Quite rare furniture...and elegant. Very decorative The vertical extension: 225 cmX 30 at the widest level. Chairs: seat: 39 cm / height at seat level: 43 cm / height at back level: 78 cm X2 The furniture is not sold separately.
