"An Elegant Belle Epoque Cape In Appliquéd Wool Felt And Taffeta Circa 1890"
Circa 1890-1900 France Pretty elegant cape from the Belle Epoque. Cream wool felt embroidered applique available on a matching silk net background. Visible lining in taffeta changing rust color, closing with hooks in front on a stand collar (gaps in the lining) a few micro holes from moths in the felt but net and stable structure. The taffeta lining will need to be changed if you wish to wear it. Average state of conservation. Perfect for historical reenactment. Dimensions: height 49 cm, circumference 289 cm, neck circumference 40 cm.
