Important pair of candelabra after Clodion** from the Napoleon III 19th century period. The Louis XVI Style candelabra with five arms of light in patinated and gilded bronze, represent two Putti each holding leafy branches forming two arms of light on one side and three arms of light on the other. One is represented in the form of a cherub, the other in the form of a satyr. The putti rest on a large circular base in turquin blue marble surrounded by pearls and a frieze of wrapped foliage. Mercury gilding and original patina in very good condition.
