Chandelier With Acanthus Leaves, Charles X Period
Beautiful chandelier with eight arms of light, in bronze with a nuanced brown and golden patina, decorated with a sunflower flower from which eight large acanthus leaves escape in a radiant and rotating decoration, each retaining a smaller leaf, ending with corolas forming the binets. The body of the chandelier is composed of a bouquet of acanthus leaves topped with a crown of lotus leaves, held by a chain with a pattern of palmettes, scrolls and rings (very good condition of conservation of the gilding despite some slight alterations , small lack in the chain, formerly pierced for electricity).
