From the Kadjar period, Persia from the second part of the 19th century, beautiful precious set in hand-painted papier maché and signed for most of the pieces, of: two pencil cases, including:
# A beautiful deer hunting scene with three riders , perimeter decorated with roses and birds, all on a black background, signature inside, very good condition.

# The other: for a couple scene which seems to be Majnoun & Leila in a decoration of flowers, surrounded by roses, the together on a black background, very good condition.
Dimensions: L: 22.5 cm - W: 4.3 cm - H: 3 cm Five boxes including four round and one rectangular including:
# Top left photo: Beautiful scene of three Persian horsemen in foliage, surrounded by roses and birds, all on a black background, signed inside. Dimensions: diameter: 10.8 cm - H: 5 cm
# Top middle photo: Great delicacy for a decoration of roses, pink and blue and birds, placed in a polylobed medallion with a black background surrounded by white on a blue and gold field. The edge of three rose cartridges separated by brown and gold backgrounds. Signature & decorations inside.

## Note the perfect quality of execution of each box as well as the very good condition of each.
The proposed set is made of papier-mâché 100 to 150 years old and constitutes a collection specific to the Kadjar era, the "Empire of Roses", which is why the rose is constantly present in these decorations, just like in Persian art in general.
These decorations are reminiscent of the miniatures of the Tabriz school and the Isfahan school, finesse and beauty there. Sublime artifacts of 19th century Persian culture created and painted during the Kadjar dynasty.
