Very good condition I can be reached for any requests 06 62 70 08 91 fredericchavanne@hotmail.com Yolande Ardissone was born on June 6, 1927 in Bueil (Eure) to an Italian father and a Russian mother. She began her studies at the Duperré School of Applied Arts in Paris in 1944. To train in drawing and painting techniques, she attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and evening classes in the city of Paris, where she practices nude sketching. A confident and quick draftsman, her mastery will be affirmed in her travel diaries. Yolande Ardissone earns her living decorating brooches and lampshades. She continued her studies at the National School of Fine Arts, in the Nicolas Untersteller workshop. She traveled to Italy in 1949 and met her future husband, the painter Jaques Eitel. That same year, she exhibited her works for the first time at the Salon des artistes français and became a member. The two artists had a daughter in 1952 who would become a painter known as Florence Arven. Yolande Ardissone was discovered by Wally Findlay in 1957. The American art dealer organized numerous exhibitions for her in his galleries in New York, Beverly Hills and Palm Beach, ensuring her success in the United States for many years. The artist made numerous trips to Asia, Italy and Greece. She stayed and worked in Venice in 19601. She brought back original and colorful views from each of her trips. But Yolande Ardissone's favorite subjects are the landscapes and seascapes of Brittany.
