Cardboard barrel covered with taupe felt (wear), H 18 cm, bordered at the top with a scarlet braid and at the bottom with a black leather band. Black leather visor. Tricolor metal cockade. Silver-plated copper faceplate. Chinstraps composed of two leather chin straps covered in black velvet and covered with a silver-plated copper plate stamped with a decreasing series of scales; each chin strap is attached to the shako by a round rosette stamped with a flaming grenade. Interior cover in brown leather (wear). Size: 55cm. Beautiful collector's item over 170 years old!
