19th Century Coral Brooch, Veuve Gueudet
Magnificent coral brooch dating from the 19th Century, quality, finesse of execution and size of exceptional beauty.
In its original box, we find the inscription "Veuve Gueudet, 30 haussée d'Antin".
The Fousuet-Gueudet families received the Medal of Merit at the Vienna Exhibition in 1873 and specialized in coral works as well as watchmaking.
The scene represents two lovers holding a scarf above a shell from which an acorn hangs.
