Pair of ridge tiles in glazed terracotta with three-color glaze of green, dark brown and yellow orcre representing a dignitary and a dancing divinity. Both sculptures date from the end of the 17th century, belonging to the Ming Dynasty. The ironwood bases are made later. Private collection. In good condition, (one lack and wear). Dimensions: Dignitary: h.48 cm x l.18.5 cm x d.16.5 cm. Deity: h.35 cm x l.30 cm x d.15 cm.
