"China, 1940s/1950s, Pair Of Cloisonne Enamel Vases On Copper In Baluster Shape."
China, 1940s/1950s, very pretty pair of vases in cloisonné enamel on copper in a baluster shape with a flowered rock decoration, above which a bird moves, on a light yellow background. It is a real pair, a pendant, because the position of the various elements is perfectly reversed. The perimeter of the base and the top of the neck is decorated with a frieze of stylized lingzhi mushrooms and a brass rim which subtly enhances the beauty of the whole. Height 23.5 cm (27.5 cm with the bases which highlight the beauty of these vases). The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
