Object description :

"Emile Gallé, Important Vase Or Lamp Base With Glass Hydrangeas Circa 1900"

Superb important vase or lamp base in multilayer glass released and acid-etched with a decoration of hydrangeas by Emile Gallé.
It is originally a lamp which has lost its lampshade but there remains the base which can be used as a vase or with the bronze system decorated with scarabs to use it as a lamp as we have equipped it .
The decor is of very good quality with a very deep acid engraving and very beautiful colors.
The size of this vase / lamp base is out of the ordinary, it is a vase that leaves no one indifferent.
The double bulb electrical system allows the vase to be highlighted.
When used in a vase, the bronze ring remains fixed.
Period 1900.
