Young man with a pipe, bronze with brown patina signed on the base on a wooden base with a cartridge. Antonio Bofill-Conill known as Antoine Bofill was born in 1875 and died in 1925, is a Spanish sculptor working in Paris, rue Vercingétorix. Born in Barcelona, Bofill studied at the Academy of Fine Arts there. In Spain and France he exhibited small figures and groups which he cast in bronze in France as well as in Germany and Austria. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon from 1894. Dimensions of the bronze without the base: 36 cm
