Gerhard Cohn Roemers was a German-Jewish painter who emigrated first to Sweden and then to the Netherlands in the 1930s. In the Netherlands he took the name Roemers and Dutch nationality. He worked as a landscape and cityscape painter in the Netherlands, Sweden and France.
