Rare pair of Louis XV style “confessional” or “carriage” bergères.This pair of bergères is finely carved in walnut.
Retracted armrests, arched feet.
Upholstered in blue fabric on the seat, back and armrests, with matching cushion.
The tapestry is slightly worn, one tip of a foot of of a bergère is slightly damaged (souvenir of a dog).
Napoleon III period , a French work around 1880.
