Elegant and rare corner chest of drawers with half-moon shaped doors in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening on the front with three drawers, two without crosspieces, resting on 4 tapered legs, beautiful and rich ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes, this pretty chest of drawers is topped with white marble surrounded by an openwork bronze gallery, the upper parts of the side doors have reserves of openwork bronze friezes. This chest of drawers with elegant proportions and presented in good "condition", mounted on oak, is a Parisian work stamped by P Roussel Pierre Roussel mastered in 1745, he is a skillful marqueter who leaves a diverse and excellent quality production which is adapted during the 18th century. The chest of drawers presented here is a "good" example.
