Original and rare engraving representing the "famous" and mysterious Chevalier d'Eon, or Charles d'Eon de Beaumont born in 1728-1810, diplomat, officer, spy and man of letters, socialite and scholar, the character is represented as a "warrior" in the Antique style carrying a shield and lance in front of a military camp. Rare document, presented in a gilded wooden rod.
