32.5 cm long, 3.5 cm long 

Also known as a jutte, the jitte is a weapon used by the Japanese police to break the blades of katana swords. 
It is also a symbol, like a badge, of police officers. 
This example has a Fuji Maki wicker finish on the handle, with a braided cord strap.
