"Joseph Maswiens Church Interior "
Interior view of church with a religious ceremony scene by Joseph Maswiens (1828-1880). He is known for his interior views of churches in Louvain and Brussels, following the tradition of Peter Jans Saenredam or Pieter Neefs of the Golden Age. OUR oil on canvas is signed and dated 50 lower right, framed in a mid-19th century wooden and gilded stucco frame and measures 40.7x32.3 cm without frame.
