Large quantities of engravings from the 19th century, around fifty: sold individually: €220, or in quantity: decreasing price, photos of other engravings on request...the engravings are etched, the backs are blank , white paper, they can also be sold without the frame, (which is new).
Subject: The Battle of Cairo, known as the Pyramids, fought on July 21, 1798. The other engravings are the great battles of Napoleon I, under the Consulate and the Empire, until the fall of Napoleon.
Drawings by: Carle Vernet based on paintings by Carle Vernet and largely (90%) by Swebach, and some by other history painters. The drawings are very detailed with lots of detail. Period: from the very beginning of the 19th century, in good condition,
