Pair of large chiseled and gilded bronze standing candlesticks with three lights, topped with Dionysus (Bacchus for the Romans) and a Maenad (Bacchante for the Romans). Dionysus is represented dressed in the skin of a beast which he holds in one hand, and in the other the thyrsus, his main attribute.
