Representing a beetle with garnet cabochon elytra, silver thorax and abdomen, paved with fine half pearls, on a gold 18k pike ending with a round almandine garnet cabochon.
Eyes in small red cabochons.
The reverse side is realistically treated with the abdomen segments and legs.
Eagle head hallmark (18k mark) on the pin .
The safety clasp is an old replacement, marked 14K.
