First Emile Gallé period, circa 1880. Magnificent compote bowl with a completely magical decor... Chalice decorated with 8 cabochons in the shape of blackberries, decorated with ferns and shooting stars, all resting on a twisted pedestal. The work is completely dreamlike... the multicolored stars completing the landscape of ferns, all done on a gold and purple background make this compote absolutely marvelous! Signature on the bottom: E. Gallé Nancy deposited Perfect condition! Rare piece. Dimensions: diameter 14 cm height 11.5 cm diameter pedestal 8.5 cm weight 300 g
