The oratory, or "Composed landscape", Oil on canvas by Raphael Arnal, (1906-19663), Provençal expressionist artist, born in Languedoc, who went through the Beaux-Arts of Montpellier. He exhibited in Montpellier, Avignon, Salon de Provence, Paris then for 14 years in Marseille, in the Pintade district, often represented in his work, and finally in Vence and Antibes during the last years of his life. He is a great friend of Max Jacob with whom he exchanged an important correspondence which was subsequently published by the magazine Massilia. A complex personality of modern art, his painting is marked by a strong expression and intense colors, as here in vision of the landscape . Shipping possible everywhere.
