France, end of the 19th century, very pretty pair of Louis XV style mirrors in patinated and gilded stucco presenting a rich and beautiful Rocaille decoration. The glass, oval in shape, contrasts harmoniously with the rectangular shape of the frames. Its reflection is very imperfect in the spirit of the mercury mirrors of the 18th century (See photograph number 10 which allows you to better perceive the distortions of the image it reflects). The whole is very fresh and in a good state of conservation, even if some light, normal and insignificant wear is noticeable. No shock or loss. It is unusual to own this type of mirror in pairs. The effect is very elegant.
