Very pretty carved mahogany armchair from the Restoration period - 19th century. The backrest is slightly inverted for ideal comfort. The armchair consists of beautifully sculpted armrests. The rear legs are saber-shaped. The front legs are elegantly curved, known as hock-shaped. Very elegant and fine armchair. The wood carving work is very refined. The mahogany here is quite dark, the color is beautiful and goes perfectly with the yellow velvet. The tapestry is quality, in yellow velvet with empire style patterns.
