Curved Support Cabinet In Boulle Marquetry, Napoleon III Period
Superb piece of furniture at support height in Boulle marquetry. Curved on the front and on the sides, it opens with two doors inlaid with tortoiseshell and brass in blackened pear wood frames highlighted by double brass fillets, the flared sides also decorated with panels inlaid with tortoiseshell and brass. Very rich ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes such as moldings, frames, cherubs, falls, keyholes... Original white marble top. Napoleon III period. Restoration carried out by an experienced cabinetmaker, varnished with a pad.
