Beautiful and imposing head sculpted in stone with inlays of earthenware and fragments of crockery, beautiful expression and finesse of sculpture mounted on a marble base close to the free figuration. signed and dated (92) on the back. Yvana Stella was born on November 26, 1945[1] in Algiers[2]. She grew up in Algiers, Sao Paulo, Rome and Monaco[1]. She trained at the Rome art school in 1965 and in Paris in 1981[3]. In 1995 she became involved in municipal politics in Paris[1]. She is buried with her husband Gérard Sakon in the Chalo-Saint-Mars cemetery[4].
