Architect Sautereau Paris 1950 Drawing Table & Thonet Chair
Architect's drawing table from the Parisian manufacturer Sauteau with its thonet high chair repainted in orange. Wooden top tilts from vertical to flat position, adjustable in sitting or standing height, brake pedal to lock the table in the chosen position. System of pulleys and counterweights for fixing a drawing rule. Fully steel base. French work from the 1950s, solid and still used. Good condition, traces of use on the wooden top and on the base, see photos. Top: 152 X 100 cm / foot: 108 X 65 X 110 cm.
