The first factory was set up in 1785 near Sarreguemines. In 1791, it moved to Vaudrevange (Wallerfangen), and remained a significant production centre, even after its transfer to German territory in 1815. Similar products to those made in Creil were also produced. This factory merged with Boch in 1836.
This piece is similar to the hard porcelain models produced by the Niderviller factory under the aegis of the Count of Custine before 1793.
Condition report: very small enamel chips, one small chip. Not missing. Interesting collector's item.
