Louis XVI Commode Stamped Jb.vassou
Very elegant Louis XVI period chest of drawers, in rosewood veneer and marquetry. It opens with 3 small drawers in the upper part, then 2 large drawers in the lower part. The top is a gray marble top called Ste Anne. the bronzes have a pretty pale yellow gilding, and the locks work. Stamped JBVASSOU and JME, for Jean-Baptiste Vassou, Parisian cabinetmaker, master in 1767 This piece of furniture has been restored and varnished by us.
