"J.-j.adnet - The Pigeon Flies "
Cream-glazed cracked ceramic figure representing a pigeon taking flight, signed Adnet on the terrace, in perfect condition. This model was made for La Maîtrise in the typical Art Deco style and it is the largest and rarest of this small series which was exhibited at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts of 1925. Reproduced in the book Les Craquelés Art Déco by Alain-René Hardy and Bruno Giardi 49x17x10.5cm
