17th Century Skate Table
Rare table with glides and X-shaped base from a 17th century guard room, in oak wood, from the north of France. The top results from the assembly of 2 boards of extremely solid wood (thickness 8 cm). The X-shaped base rests on the ground by thick pads, connected together by 2 spacers mounted with keys. Beautiful representations of 17th century framed tables. Good state of conservation, wrought iron reinforcements connecting the 2 boards of the top (old restoration).
