Circa 1810 France First curtain in a series of Three First Empire curtains in daffodil yellow Gourgouran, fitted with their original brass rings. Satin background with stripes bordered with geometric miniatures. Original colored sewn fringes and period yellow taffeta and brown satin lining. Flawless. Exceptionally good condition for the period. Usable in historical decoration without problem. 980 euros each curtain. The linings are light brown sateen and First Empire yellow taffeta (the Empire yellow taffeta being as rare as the gourgouran of this period). Dimensions: 305 cm high by 104 cm.
