Student of Aimé Morot and Théobald Chatran. Friend of Steinlen, Paul Gauguin, Auguste Renoir and Henri de Toulouse Lautrec. He exhibits at the Salon des Indépendantsand at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. In 1901,he organized with Louis Anquetin the Salon des Refusés at the Pavillon des Arts Décoratifs.
