"Art Deco Sauce Boat N°686, Georg Jensen, Drawing By Harald Nielsen, Denmark Circa 1932 925 Silver"
Extremely rare Art Deco style gravy boat, created around 1932 by Harald Nielsen (1892-1977) for the prestigious goldsmith house Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. As brother of the wife of Georg Jensen (1866-1935) he will play a major role in the history of this workshop, both in creation and in management. This gravy boat, which spontaneously makes me think of a cute Troglodyte bird , was designed to be used in the "Pyramid" range, entirely designed by Harald Nielsen. It dates from the period 1945-1977 and is made of solid 925% silver. It has a content of more or less 300 ml.
