Period: 19th century, lost wax bronze with very beautiful patina, in very good condition, on marble base
Subject: Faun playing cymbals...
The faun with cymbals is an antique marble sculpture kept at the Uffizi in Florence.
Bronze copies were published in the 18th century, notably by Soldani-Benzi, Cipriani and Righetti, then in the 19th century.
