Object description :

"Biscuit Box 1908 Huntley & Palmer Liner Lusitania Arriving In New York Model Wanted "
This box is unusual because only 20,000 copies were made by the English biscuit factory Huntley & Palmer in 1908, we are talking about the largest biscuit factory in the world at the time and which sold everywhere on our planet. In lithographed sheet metal, it is the representation of the maiden voyage of the liner "Lusitania" when it arrived in New York in 1907. It was sunk in the Irish Sea on May 7, 1915 by a German submarine. It is stamped with a small stamp of "The Cunard Steamship Liner Company" logo on the left of the top, the sides are decorated with small illustrations of first class ambiance such as the dining room or the long bar.
