"17th Century Hand-carved Crucifix In Gilded Wood Frame Decorated With Flowers"
Here is a crucifix from the 17th century, it is carved by hand with great finesse. The frame is from the 18th century in carved wood enhanced with stucco decorated with flowers and pretty leaf gilding. The whole remains in decent condition, note broken fingers on Christ's left hand, a damaged finger on the right foot, a crack on the left foot, rust on the tips. We report that the velvet is stained, damaged and worn. Traces of cosons visible on the back, damaged paper to hide the back. The hanging ring is rusty and the wood is dirty in places. We strive to detail every slightest imperfection, but this is an object from the Haute Epoque period, so it can be considered to be in appreciable condition. Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the condition, please detail the photos. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description.
