"Luigi Michaeli (19th-20th Century) The Old Port Of Marseille"
The Old Port of Marseille in 1930, the schooners which transported goods, in the background, the emblematic Statue of Notre Dame de la Garde, the favorite subject of collectors of paintings from the Provençal School by the artist Luigi Michaeli in (19)30. The work is a beautiful oil on wooden panel produced in colors which perfectly recreate the atmosphere and port activity of the time. It is offered in a carved and gilded wooden frame which measures 56 cm by 47 cm and 46 cm by 38 cm for the panel alone. In good condition, it is signed and dated lower right.
