"A Table Service By Suzanne Lalique For Havilland "
Suzanne Lalique is known for her enameled creations which she made  for the  glassworks of her father , R.Lalique.

She was also, among other things, a painter, stylist,  theater's and opera  decorator .

With her husband, Paul Havilland, she created  table services  marked by her personality and talent.


In this large service, whose plates and shaped pieces are decorated with blue waves and a boat in the center, she expresses her originality and her conception of decor. The service is composed of 34 dinner plates, 30 dessert plates, 10 soup plates, 2 oval dishes, 3 round dishes, 3 compote bowls, 4 ravines, 1 salad bowl, 1 vegetable bowl, 1 tureen without lid, 2 gravy boats. In all, 90 pieces in good condition.
The porcelain is french from Limoges marked Suzanne Lalqiue and Havilland .
