Pair of Louis XVI style bronze fireplace fronts, mounted as lamps,composed of a console with offset projection molded with a molding of twisted laurel leaves resting on four spinning top legs connecting it to a molded mirror base.
A covered bowl on a square base adorned with falling laurel garlands and flame cushioning adorns the top of the console at the level of the projection. Napoleon III period.
They are topped with oval gray percale lampshades, covered with gold and burgundy crisscross soutaches, simulating the decoration of the drums.
A chocolate soutache highlights the top and bottom edges of the oval. Modern electrification,
the gold wire passes through the body of the rod attached to support the lampshade; E27 screw bulb.
Bronze cleaned & varnished.
