Painter born in Niko in 1930 Congo died in 2005. He is considered one of the five founders of Congolese painting. Very young, he stood out for his drawings, he perfected his skills at the Poto-Poto school of painters founded in 1951 by Pierre Lods. Since 1954, Malonga has exhibited his works in Africa: Dakar, Djamena, Brazzaville, Bangui, Libreville. His work includes landscapes, portraits and genre scenes with an evolution towards semi-abstraction. Oil on canvas in shimmering colors signed lower left dated 69.unframed.
