"Antique 18th Century Fan , Mother-of-pearl Frame, Painted Leaf, Esther And Assuerus"
Fan from the mid-18th century. Magnificent engraved, pierced, gilded and painted mother-of-pearl frame. The leaf is painted with a scene from the story of Esther and Assuerus, where Esther is chosen as the new queen by King Assuerus. Restoration on two sticks mainly visible on the back. It measures 11,61 inches closed and 20,86 inches in diameter open. Circa 1755.
